Sully is also from the Jirrahlinga Wildlife Sanctuary in Barwon Heads, Victoria. He has matured into a very keen and active koala and is our breeding male. He weighs in at around 10kg and he is the father of ‘Jade’ born at Maru in 2007. We hope he will father more koala joeys in the future with our females. He is usually housed separately from the other koalas and only allowed in with the female koalas to mate and breed. In the company of other male koalas he is very dominant and proudly protects his territory.
