STUDENT EDUCATION & ACTIVITY PROGRAM

Fauna Park
All groups will be met by a park keeper for a 45 min class incorporating the following:-

• Both native and domestic animals will be discussed.

• Introduction to animal categories, habitat, lifestyle etc.

• Hands on opportunity with a select group of animals.

• “Treasure hunt” – All students will be required to use all their senses to complete this activity.

 

Mini-Golf
Students will partake in a 45 min game:-

• Exploration of the "Australian Landscape" as they putt their way around the obstacles and inter-active features of this 18 hole course.

• This will be a memorable experience for both students and teachers.

• A challenging quiz will be undertaken by students whilst navigating the course.

• Schools divided into 2 groups.
Activities 45 min. duration each running concurrently. 10 min change over time allowed.

• 1/2 hr. lunch break allowed - depending on tme of arrival.

• Teachers are expected to supervise students in the mini-golf component, also to be present for animal class.

CLASSES AS PER CURRICULUM GUIDELINES
Classes are set out in accordance with the Victorian essential learning standards as set by the Dept. of Education & Training.
